UTMC Adapter Software Development Kit
Cloud Amber is the first and only UTMC supplier to offer system suppliers and providers with a fully compliant UTMC Adapter Software Development Kit (SDK).
With the Cloud Amber UTMC Adapter SDK developers and system integrators can become fully UTMC compliant without the pain of integrating with the 4+ existing offerings out in the market place. With over 9 systems in place interfacing to over 20 sub systems. Cloud Amber has taken our flexible and reliable architecture and can now offer the same easy integration to others.

Background
Launched in 1997, the UTMC programme was the UK Department for
Transport (DfT) main initiative for the development of a more open
approach to Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) in urban areas. During
the first three years, a number of research projects were undertaken to
establish and validate an approach based on modular systems and open
standards. These have contributed to the UTMC Technical Specifications,
which define UTMC standards.
The primary intention of UTMC Technical Specification is to facilitate the interoperability of modules in a Traffic Management System, and between such systems and external parties.
Cloud Amber has developed a series of adaptors and end points for a vast array of interfaces and connections. We use UTMC compliant interfaces throughout the product range.
